BROWSE THROUGH THE HERD!

This is just a fraction of the elephants in our collection.  The elephant that is used for our 'next' button at the bottom of this page is 1/2 x 3/4 inches and is adorned with eight rubies on each side.

 

This lovely lady is the creation of Giuseppe Armani of Florence, Italy.  The elephant on the top of the pedestal is about three inches high.

 

This ceramic 'yard elephant' comes from Viet Nam and is 17.5" x 21"

 

 

This cast iron fellow is about 100 years old.  He contains a compartment designed for the 'newfangled' machine-made smokes.  When his tail is twisted, a cigarette is dispensed out of his belly into the position seen in the picture

The elephant below is apparently carved from stone and hails from India
The elephant above is carved from snowflake obsidian and is less than 3" high The elephant above is made of vaseline glass.  This type of glass purportedly contains uranium oxide which give it the distinctive color.  Vaseline glass fluoresces under black light

 

The elephant below is an exquisite piece of lapis lazuli
The above elephants were cast in solid gold.  Both have an emerald in their trunks.  One has emerald eyes and the other diamonds The above elephant head bookends were a great buy in Houston, TX
